'Chinese Porcelains from the Ardebil Shrine by John Alexander Pope, published by the Freer Gallery of Art in Washington. Hardback quarto book with cloth covers in a dust jacket which is covered with a plastic protective sleeve. First edition, 1956.  194 pages plus 142 full-page black and white plates with captions on the facing page.
 
A description and illustration of mainly Ming porcelains now held in the Archeological Museum in Tehran.  An excellent book for anyone with an interest in Ming blue and white ceramics.

This volume is in very good condition. The dust jacket is frayed and torn at the top of the backstrip. The cloth covers are in very good condition and internally the book is in very good used condition.  Binding is sound.
