First edition, hardback volume in dust jacket. 122 pages with an introductory essay on the collection, an with 200 lots, illustrated throughout with colour photographs.
An excellent reference for these wares, showing many example of both blue and white and polychrome wares made in Chinese for export to Japan, predominantly during the late Ming period.
Condition: there is a short tear to the dust jacket near the top of the spine, and a discreet blind ownership stamp to the front free endpaper. Internally in very good condition with a sound binding.
