Hardback in dust jacket.  384 pp, illustrated throughout with 290 black and white photographs in the text, and with 20 colour plates.  Some marking, fraying to the edges and small tears to the dust jacket.  Internally VG+.

A classic on the subject of Chinese (and to a lesser extent Japanese) porcelain exported to Europe, with many extracts from the English East India Company records.  The author is also an acknowledged expert on British ceramics and is able to draw on this knowledge to show how Oriental porcelain influenced these wares.  Highly recommended.
