A copy of the book 'Oriental Export Market Porcelain and its influence on European wares' by Geoffrey A. Goddon.  Granada Publishing, 1st Edition, 1979. Hardback book.  384 pp, illustrated throughout with 290 black and white photographs in the text, and with 20 colour plates. No dust jacket.

A classic on the subject of Chinese (and to a lesser extent Japanese) porcelain exported to Europe, with many extracts from the English East India Company records.  The author is also an acknowledged expert on British ceramics and is able to draw on this knowledge to show how Oriental porcelain influenced these wares.  Highly recommended.

Condition: A very good copy, with some fraying to the cloth cover on the bottom corner of the front cover, and some markings to the covers and to the fore edge.  Internally in VG+ condition with a sound binding.
