Chinese export sauce boat, Qianlong

A Chinese export sauce boat with a flared foot, decorated in underglaze blue, and dating from the Qianlong period.  There is a moulded double raised band highlighted with underglaze blue around the rim, and also either side of the spout to create the panels. The sides of the sauce boat are decorated with pairs of birds in a rocky landscape.  The interior of the boat has a single flower spray.  Brown dressed rim.  Width from spout to handle 23.5cm (9.3").

Dating: Qianlong c 1740-1760

Condition.  Excellent condition.  There are one or two tiny glaze frits to the rim, and to the base of the handle.  No chips, cracks or restoration.
