A Chinese ginger jar, decorated in underglaze blue with a design of prunus blossoms against a 'cracked ice' ground, and dating from the Kangxi period. The mouth of the jar is glazed, below which there is an unglazed band for the lid (now missing) to sit upon. Height 13cm (5.1").
Dating: Kangxi c1700-1720
Condition: excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or restoration
