A Chinese export teabowl and saucer recovered as part of the Nanking Cargo, decorated in underglaze blue with the 'Blue Pine' pattern, and dating from the Qianlong period c1752. Both the teabowl and saucer have the Christie's label indicating that these were sold as part of lot 5529 during the Nanking Cargo sale. Saucer diameter 11.7cm (4.6").
Condition. Both the teabowl and saucer are in excellent, undamaged condition. The glaze on the teabowl is in very good condition, and is slightly softened on the saucer as a result of immersion.
