Pair of Chinese celadon-back dishes, Qianlong
An atractive pair of Chinese dishes, decorated to the front in underglaze blue with a lotus scroll design and with celadon glaze to the backs, dating from the Qianlong period. The base of each dish has a 6-character Qianlong (minyao) mark in seal script. One dish has a brown-dressed rim. Diameter 20.2cm (8")

Dating: Qianlong mark and of the period (c 1790)
Condition. Both dishes are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. One dish has a small firing fault behind the rim, ilustrated in our last photograph.
