A attractive large Chinese Imari bowl, the outside decorated with flower sprays beneath a red diaper band with reserves with flower head. The inside of the rim is decorated with a similar band, and the bottom of the bowl with a large peony flower. Diameter 29.7cm (11.7”)
Date: Kangxi or Yongzheng c 1720-30
Condition: a small and shallow chip to the outside of the rim has been professionally restored. There is wear to the enamels of the peony flower in the bottom of the bowl from use, and a small glaze chip to the brown- dressed rim. A small amount of glaze crazing to the base.
