An attractive European decorated Chinese bowl, the bowl dating from the Kangxi period and the enamelling circa 1720 to 1735. The exterior of the bowl has been enamelled with figures amongst flowering plants, the interior of the bowl has birds perched in branches of flowering trees and insects. Diameter of the bowl is 14.8 cm.
Date: The bowl Kangxi c 1720
Condition: there is a hairline crack running circa 4 cm from the rim and wear to the enamels in the centre of the bowl from use. No other damage or restoration.
