An attractive Chinese saucer, finally potted and translucent, and decorated with chrysanthemums using overglaze blue, white and pink enamels in a 'boneless' style. Diameter 10.7 cm (4.2").
Date: Yongzheng or early Qianlong c 1730 to 50
Condition: a consolidated small star crack to the base, now invisible, and some kiln grit to the foot which is partly discoloured. There is a small amount of surface abrasion, and minor losses, to the enamels.
