Chinese 'egg & spinach' saucer dish, Kangxi

An attractive small Chinese biscuit-decorated saucer dish with out-turned rim, decorated on the front and back with 'egg and spinach' (susancai) enamels, and dating from the Kangxi period. The base is glazed but undecorated. Diameter 12.1 cm (4.8").
Dating: Kangxi (1662-1722)
Condition: there is one short hairline from the rim (see our photographs), surface scratching to the glaze both internally and externally, and wear to the interior where the glaze has pooled more thickly.
