A Chinese silk purse C 1910 in fine "Pekin" stitch with additional satin stitch and sequins. The purse shows a long thin stylised dragon, or possibly an eel, with other fish and plant life. The purse has two front compartments and another compartment with the belt loop. The purse is decorated on just one side and designed to be worn on a belt. 8.5 cm wide x 13 cm high.
Condition generally good with some discolouration to the cream silk and fading to the blue edging. Please see photographs.
