A good quality Chinese square silk purse with three compartments (a central compartment and two further compartments under flaps on the front and back). The purse has been finely embroidered on both sides using Pekin knot with flowers, fruit and butterflies. The purse dates from the early Twentieth Century and is 11.5 cm / 4.5" wide.
The purse is in very good condition. There is one loose thread to the braiding at the mouth of the purse. Please examine our photographs.
