A good Chinese silk purse with blue flower decoration, late C19th

A good quality Chinese silk purse with silk embroidery using a fine Pekinese stitch. The peach-coloured silk of the purse has been neatly embroidered with blue flowers with pale yellow centres, and with a black braid edging. The purse dates from the late Nineteenth Century and is 15.8 cm / 6.2" wide.

The purse is in overall very good condition with only a few faint marks to the blue-coloured back of the purse.  Please examine our photographs.
