A Miao minority Chinese intricately hand embroidered panel from Southern China, with orange, blue, green and cream stitching on a red ground. The red cloth is backed in green and blue cloth. The embroidery is done through the two layers for strength and stability of the embroidery. Probably second half of C20th. Unfinished edges; some old stitching round edges where it was previously attached to other fabric. 74.5cm x 14 cm
