A mounted early C18th Chinese woven silk panel with peony flowers

An attractive early mounted Chinese woven silk panel in card mount, dating from the early Eighteenth Century.  The burnt orange silk background is woven with orange, yellow, white and blue silk wit  a design of flowering peony and other plants .  Size of mount 38.5 x 28.5 cm (15.1" x 11.2"), size of visible textile 27.5 x 18 cm (10.8" x 7").

Beautiful, subtle Eighteenth Century silk.
