An early 20th century Chinese roundel embroidery in red silk with gilt couched threads, the roundel edged with ribbon and brown brocade with an elaborate flower and leaf design. The roundel depicts the five blessings; wealth, health, a long life, hope of a natural death and the love of virtue in the form of five bats around a shou character for long life. Pink backing. 43cm diameter.
Condition: Very good. Some wear to edging. Some losses to the backing. Please see photographs.
