A Chinese export coffee cup with London decoration of flower sprays, a caterpillar and other insects. There is a single flower spray painted inside the cup. Brown-painted rim. The decoration on this is very similar to that on the London-decorated teapot stand we are offering (our stock number 271211) and was probably painted by the same hand. Height 6.5 cm. (2.6")

Date: Qianlong circa 1755 to 1765
Condition: this cup is in good condition. There is a little roughness to the rim and a few glaze faults at the foot rim.
