A good quality and brightly decorated Chinese deep plate with rib-moulded rim and with Dutch enamel decoration in a blend of Imari and Kakiemon styles, dating from the Yongzheng period. The centre of the dish is painted with a garden scene with a bird perched in a flowering tree. The rim of the dish is decorated in panels with alternating scenes of parrots and other birds with flowers and 'banded hedge', and of a figure fishing from a boat on a lake. The reverse is undecorated, and has a French paper label. Diameter 22.5cm (8.9").

Condition: very good condition. There is glaze fritting around the rim. No chips, cracks or restoration.
