A late C19th Chinese purse in cream and dark blue. The cream area is painted with flowers. These kidney-shaped purses hung off a belt at the waist and were used by both men and women to hold incense. 10cm across at widest point.
Condition: Wear to the raised pleats with some fading and surface marks. Please see photographs.
