A pair of Miao minority embroidered panels from South China, profusely decorated with frogs, butterflies, birds, mythical creatures, fish and figures.  Probably second half of C20th. Exuberantly designed and embroidered in multi coloured satin stitch with added sequins on a red ground. Attached to stiffened black cotton.  Sold individually.
