A good quality Chinese Imari basin with everted rim. The inside and outside of the basin are decorated with peony and chrysanthemum flower sprays, and there is an iron red diaper band around the rim with underglaze blue flower heads. Diameter 27cm (10.6”)
Date: Kangxi or Yongzheng c 1720-35
Condition: good condition. The gilding to the interior is partially rubbed from use. There is a small glaze frit beneath the rim. No chips, cracks or restoration.
